Bowling Night FUN!!!

A few weeks ago, some of my family got together on Monday night and went bowling at Fat Catz! It was actually such a fun night that we can't wait to do it again! Mom, dad, Adam and I were on one team while Matt, Sarah, their kids and Grandma were on another team. In the first game Adam was not happy that I was bowling better than him... he's such a little brother! I guess he thought no sister of his should be beating him! hahahahaha! My mom was surprisingly a good bowler! She said when she was younger she bowled alot! Mom maybe you should take up bowling and get on a league! :) My husband Matt was not able to make it but I did have my brother Matt there. Thanks for letting us use your camera to take pictures Matt!
Brooklyn enjoyed everything that was on going around her. She found some steps she just loved to keep climbing and jumping off... That girl, she has NO FEAR!
Adam... what is he doing?

Would you guys please look at the camera!

Brooklyn was so excited to roll the ball (she's staring at it)

Brooklyn's first roll!

Shhhh... I'm focusing!

My brother Matt's pregnant belly... no really! :)

Grandpa Kelsch
Look Out!

Grandma Kelsch
What a bowler she is! Good technique!

Sorenson VRS Testimonial

Hey Friends and Family! The video testimonial from Sorenson VRS is up! Click this link http://www.sorensonvrs.com/svrsvideos/shari.php and view the video! Thanks family for your willingness to participate! I am grateful for the SVRS relay service, especially the Voice Carry Over (VCO) option, a feature I can use to voice for myself in a phone call while an interpreter relays the message from the hearing person to me. I love it!

Brooklyn and Peyton

A couple of weeks ago Peyton and Brooklyn got to hang out together. Peyton is my good friend's (Nicole Gough) daughter. When they are together they have lots of fun! We caught them playing the piano together and just jabbering away. Peyton's parents are deaf and I am deaf and so I think the two girls have a special connection and enjoy hanging out with each other. I love to see them sign. Pianist Peyton and Brooklyn. They had just finished giving us a show!

Playing chopsticks?

Okay this picutre I added cause I forgot to post it on the last blog. This is some of my teammates getting ready to ride SPIDERMAN at Island of Adventure. Most of us would say that was the best ride. Love our glasses? Now ain't we cool!

SLC Marathon

This morning Matt, Brooklyn and I woke up at 6:30 am to drive to SLC to watch all the marathon runners. Every year we meet at the Lingwall's home, (friends from our old ward) and we (the old ward and us) have a big breakfast and watch all the runners go by. It's so fun to cheer all the runners on and see them accomplish such a hard thing. We really enjoyed it this morning and it was good to see all of our friends. We would love to move back in the ward someday.... soon... we will see. Later on we went to the Gateway to see all the runners make it to the finish line. It's a great sight to see....
I want to share something... each year I get a little emotional watching all the runners go by. Is that normal or not? I don't think it is but why do I get emotional? I think it's because as I watch all the runners, some are running for the first time, some many times and some are walking, some are struggling and some are helping others. It's the fact that they are doing something that is not easy at all and it takes courage, strength and dedication to do. I love watching the dedication of all the people who want to finish the race. I see others who are done, go back and help others who are struggling and help them to the finish line... it's a sweet moment of kindness and encouragement. I compare this experience with our own lives, we all go through life and there are struggles we all go through. But we don't have to go through our struggles alone, we are given words of encouragement along the way, just like those who are cheering on the runners. We are given help along the way, just like those who stopped to help other runners. Right now we all have courage in this life as we go through each day and we have dedicated ourselves to making it to the end... to the finish line.  I know Heavenly Father loves us all and wants us to be happy and help others to make it back home to Him. I am grateful for my tearful moments as I watch the runners... I would hope that others would cheer me along the way and many have.

Brooklyn and Daddy watching the runners!
My boss John Peebler and his wife Sue!
It was so fun to see them! John is the best boss
I have ever had and have learned sooo much from him!
My good friends Cindy (middle) and Jeanene (right).
Cindy was my trainer on my mission and Jeanene
was so sweet to interpret for me in our old ward when
Matt and I lived in SLC. Cindy and Jeanene both live
in the apartment 4-plex we lived in. We sure miss
the Waterloo Ward!

Brooklyn looking all serious like they did it in the old times.
Really... she was just really tired and not a happy girl. We woke her
up early at 6:30 am to come and support all the runners!
Cute couple Tanner and Brooklyn! Tanner swam with
Matt at the U of U. He came and hung out with us!

At the Gateway watching the runners. Two other friends of
Matt's came, Cody and Swiss (to the right of Matt). They both
also swam with Matt at the U. We have some great
group of friends!

Brooklyn was knocked out when we stopped for lunch.
She slept the whole way home. She is now in a great mood,
especially because Daddy took her for a ride on the "Mono" (motorcycle).
She loves the Mono!

ORLANDO BABY!

Orland0 Baby Whoo Baby Whoo!

So I made it here in Orlando! I am here with my Utah Deaf team playing in a basketball tournament. In March we won the regional tournament and so we got invited to play in Orlando for the National Tournament. We are number 3 seed and have a bye in the first round. We play the winner of Rochester and Providence tomorrow at 7:30 pm. I will try to keep you all updated on how we are doing. I wish I had some pictures to post but I don't! Matt and I can't find our darn stinkin tootin camera! So if anyone knows where it is by all means let us know! I think I will call our family the Bailey "lose everything" Family. Seriously we are always losing things and it's not just things like food, or a pencil it's stuff like Matt's wallet, my keys, the CAMERA! So I will see if I can download some pictures from my friend's camera while I am here. Anyways, we are staying at a sweet resort donated to us by one of the player's mother, Claudia, she is the owner of Audio Enhancement, the company Matt used to work for. I have posted the link http://www.vacationclub.com/resorts/gv/default.jsp so you can check it out! We are so spoiled out here! Last weekend we had a fundraiser and raised over $1000 for our team plus we have also gotten donations; THANKS DAD AND CAM AND MICHELLE!

Well I need to get to sleep! It's 2:00 am here! I will come back and post when I can!
I love you Matt and Brooklyn! Wishing you guys were here! SMOOCH!
